This month has seen the start of craft fairs, the first in Hitchin saw a steady flow of people with a great atmosphere. Hitchin is a great place to visit in addition to the craft fair there is a market and a busy town centre with lots of independent shops, The hall was full of stalls with a large variety of hand made goodies as well as more stalls outside.
The second fair was at The Olde Watermill Barton-Le-Clay, this was an outside fair thankfully the weather was good and the rain kept away. There are a selection of independent shops in the centre as well as a restaurant and antique and vintage centre so this venue provides a nice day out.
I took along my latest products which were well received and had a lot of positive feedback on my items, met a lot of lovely people who were interested in my work and how its done. This month I'm working on some new pieces to be ready for the next fair in July at Hitchin, this includes some new clocks, mirrors and photo frames as well as some more incense stick holders, all my new items will be listed on my website.
